On 22 September 2026 ABYAZ took part in SOMIPEX — the Somali Products Expo in Mogadishu, the national exhibition dedicated to products made in Somalia.
Under the theme Local Products, Global Standards, manufacturers from across the country came together to show what Somalia is producing today. For us it was an opportunity to stand among other Somali producers and show that a finished, export-ready fragrance can be created here at home.
What we showed
At the ABYAZ stand visitors discovered perfumes, attars, perfume oils, air fresheners, reed diffusers, aroma machine oils, uunsi and bakhoor — all blended in our Mogadishu workshop from Somali frankincense (Luban) and carefully selected perfume oils. Guests tested scents, learned how a custom perfume is created, and saw how a name or photo can be printed directly onto a bottle.
